Masks cover objects so that only the unmasked part of the object appears in the document. You'll use the white rectangle to mask the coffee cup image, giving the coffee cup a black border.
1 | Use the Pointer tool and drag the white rectangle on top of the coffee cup.
|
2 | Shift-click the coffee cup image so that both the coffee cup and the rectangle are selected. |
3 | Choose Modify > Mask Group > Mask to Path. The rectangle masks the coffee cup. The small diamond-shaped handle in the center of the coffee cup is the mask handle.
